Emergency Support

Guidelines

An emergency is an unexpected, sudden, and short-term crisis that threatens an individual or family's immediate health, safety, or stability.

The Project Footprints board reviews each application and referral. Requests are processed on a first come, first serve basis within the constraints of our budget and established criteria. We prioritize assistance for individuals experiencing a recent, unforeseen crisis, who demonstrate ongoing efforts to regain stability. Project Footprints support is typically under $500; higher amounts will be considered on a limited basis.

To be considered for emergency support:

  • A current application must be completed.

  • A current referral is not required, but recommended and must be completed if requested by board.

  • Supporting documentation must be provided as requested (such as recent bills).

  • Applicant and referral must be able to provide additional information as requested.

  • Applicant must reside in Carbon County or the immediate surrounding area.

Project Footprints does not fund:

  • Rent or mortgage payments

  • Pet expenses

  • Legal fees or matters before the court
